SSH Destination Fails

Post by josephh »

I had a working SSH destination, but all the sudden it's not working. Validation fails, and the logs does not reveal much info.

Please assist

Please try the following -

1. Edit backup destination
2. Set new ssh credentials
3. Leave the "key" field empty

It should try and login, if successful -> it will push the key to the remote destination.
If not, can you confirm a simple ssh login from the server itself to the backup destination works ?

For example -

ssh user@1.1.1.1

Please clarify :)

Thanks !

Are you using root or "regular" user to connect ?
What exactly did you configured inside "Backup Directory" section ?

I'm using root, and for Directory It's currently set as "/home/storage/server12.mydomain.com/accounts" I have also tried adding it with "./" But still same issue
