Re: Can you check my exclude list for errors?

Hi, Your exclude list looks fine. Although some backup destinations (such as Amazon destination) has a different exclude syntax. For more information: https://docs.jetbackup.com/manual/whm/BackupJobs/excludeFiles.html As for your second question, Jetbackup uses a different exclude protocol for diffe...

Hi,

This might be your browser auto password saver.
Try to set the new backup destination trough a private/incognito mode.

Re: Backup destination: Unable to create destination dir

Hi, Since SFTP auth is based on SSH those failures may be related. And it seems that JetBackup SSH authentication is not fully compatible with Synology servers. As part of our experience with Synology (clients issues) indicates that connection through an SSK key cannot be made. Also, as part of the ...

Re: Create Schedule's Backup Retain feature

Hi EdgeCity, It's nice to hear from you again :) In case you set the Backup Retain to 1, you will only have 1 backup on the backup destination server for each backed up account. Only the new files will be uploaded and old unexisting files will be deleted from the backup. It's not possible to set the...

Re: Does Jetbackup make a full copy of the server data before it runs an Rsync to your destination?

Hi Norm, On JetBackup you can choose if to keep your backups locally or send them directly to a remote server. JetBackup also allows the ability to perform incremental backups (on the supported backup destinations) to decrease the backup run time and consume less disk space on the backup destination...

Re: So what does Jetbackup actually come with? Do we get backup space? Or is this just a backup tool of some kind?

You can get more information at https://docs.jetbackup.com/ In the future, we may add a service that provides Jet...

Re: Error: Failed to validate destination write ability

Hi sufianahmed,

It seems that one or more of the login credentials is incorrect - causing the server validation to fail.

Can you please try to login with the same details by the server terminal?

Thanks.

Hi,

You can turn on the debug mode on your JetBackup to get more detailed logs.
Go to WHM->JetBackup->Settings-> set "Debug Active" to "Yes".

Re: Use JetBackup to move all backups to another destination after a specific date

Hi,

Currently, there is no automation in JetBackup for transferring backups between servers.
Although, you can create a directories backup job and schedule it to run twice a month and backup your local backups folder. But the restorations of those backups will have to be made manually.

Regards.
