You probably choose backup destinations that are unsupported for this feature.
For this job, you should use either use local, ssh, ftp, rsync.net

Hi, This usually happens when a cPanel update is initiated while JetBackup is running. The "/scripts/pkgacct" is locked during the update and the backup to the current account (or more..) fails. Anyhow, we have an open case about it and it should be fixed in the 3.2.x branch. Thanks, Eli.

Yes, you can turn on debug mode form the General settings.
