Database Backups

Post by shoutcloud »

When I try to create database backups, that option is greyed out and not selectable.

I do not see how to do this type of backup in the help docs.

Please provide a tutorial in this thread.

Thanks

Hi,

You probably choose backup destinations that are unsupported for this feature.
For this job, you should use either use local, ssh, ftp, rsync.net

Thanks,
Eli.

Hello,

Can we please have this as a feature request, whereby a mysql database in cpanel (for a specific cpanel account) can be backed up to AWS S3?

Kind regards,

Anthony

Hi Anthony,

In JetBackup 3.3 its possible to backup, incrementally, databases into AWS S3.
In the next version we will add the possibility to also backup compressed databases into AWS S3.

In JetBackup 3.3 we have also added the possibility to create backup filters - so you can include only one account for the databases job.

Regards.
