Move Backups to be used with a new server

I am migrating accounts from server A to server B server
Server A has been backing up accounts with jetbackup monthly, to an ssh (ftp) server.
On the backup storage server I want to move the backups to another directory where server B is now pointing for jetbackup, and have server B jetbackup see the previous backups.

How do I do this?

backup server directories look like this:

/home/serverA/monthly/accounts/jetbackup_1_4_5bb...
Do I just move this directory to /home/serverB/monthly/accounts/ and then do a reindex?

Thanks

Hi,

Each backup is located in an identified backup directory. This dir is synced with the JetBackup database.
Additionally, each backup is holding an index file that contains the backup path.

For those reasons, backups Can't be transferred between servers or directories.
