Problem restoring mail

Hi!

One of my customers lost his mail. I'm trying to restore a remote backup for that email user (user@domain), but it's not working: the mailbox is blank after restore.

This is how I'm doing it:

a) I login to WHM as root, and go to "jetbackup".
b) On the JetBackup menu, I select "Restore&Download"
c) On the options above, in "backup type" i select "Email backups"
d) On the "Find Account" I type the users account name, and it appears with: "Total of 178 backups found for this account"
e) On the dropdown menu under "Total of 178 backups...", I select the account I want to restore. It appears to have a size of 4.02 GB
f) I select the account (checkbox)
g) On the top buttons, I click on "RESTORE".
h) The queue runs after some seconds.

Result: the email account is completely empty.

What am I missing?

Thank you for your feedback.
The email restore is a known issue on JetBackup 4.0.11 and 4.0.12

The fix for this bug will be released with JetBackup 4.0.13
Until then, you can open a support ticket to get a patch for it (or we can implement it for you)

Im having the exact problem today. Could the issue be related to large backup files as my backup is around 2.6gb. A smaller backup of another email address has restored from the same date successfully.

Please help als i have 3 years wrorth of emails that need recovering.

At this time, we are not aware of any issues with restoring "large" email accounts specifically and any further information will help us identify a resolution.
