I'm using JetBackup 4.0.16 on my WHM v82.0.16, i'm trying to create a backup destination using SSH, also i tried using SFTP, my destination server in a Synology NAS server
I can connect via SSH to destination server also via SFTP via Filezilla.
I got the error "Unable to create destination dir", i disabled the rsync on the NAS (as adviced https://docs.jetbackup.com/v4.0/whm/Des ... ation.html ), but the problem is there

Hi,

Since SFTP auth is based on SSH those failures may be related.
And it seems that JetBackup SSH authentication is not fully compatible with Synology servers.

As part of our experience with Synology (clients issues) indicates that connection through an SSK key cannot be made. Also, as part of the SSH backup destination creation process, JetBackup is creating an SSH key between the servers.

Can you please try to log in to your Synology server using an SSH key.
If succeeds please try to create an SSH backup destination using this SSH key.

Please let us know the outcome.
looking forward to your reply.
