Creation date

Post by alphonseligardo »

Hello, I haven't used jetbackup before, apologies for my ignorance.
I have a dev site that is in a directory of its 'main site', unfortunately it has been totally trashed and I need to restore only this directory of the whole site.
When viewing 'Backup Files' I can see the directory there and its backup creation date, yet when I click on it to expand, all the files / directories within have other much earlier dates.
This is a wordpress site, so for wp-content for example, the creation date is january 11, and wp-admin november 16, yet the date on the entire backup is january 28. I attached a little screenshot.
I'm really worried that if I select the january 28 backup that I'll end up with the site as it was nearly 3 weeks ago or longer. Is this the case or am I mistaken?
Many thanks for your assistance.

Hi @alphonseligardo,

Just to clarify, the creation date indicates when the files/folders were last created/modified and do not indicate when the backup was generated. Restoring the following directory from the January 28th backup should restore it to its current state when the backup was generated.

Please let us know if you need further clarification.

Thank You,
Anton, JetApps Team.
