Failed to execute backup types

Post by jdeker »

Hi there
My Jetbackup not working properly. It keeps sending me "Job Status: Failed" and "Failed to execute backup types" messages.
All backups are being failed.
Any idea how to fix this issue?

Hi jdeker,

Apologies for the issue you are currently experiencing.

A failed status means that the backup job failed to execute, and can be caused by a variety of reasons. Unfortunately, without access to the backup logs, It will be difficult to pinpoint the exact cause of the issue.

You may also enable debug mode (Settings > General > Debug Active) then wait for your next backup job to run to get additional information from your backup logs.

Please reach out to your JetBackup license provider for further assistance regarding your issue. If you purchased your license directly from us, please don't hesitate to reach out to our technical support team at support@jetapps.com or open a ticket on your client area at billing.jetapps.com.

Best Regards,

Thank you JetAppsAnton.
I've managed to resolve the previous issue.
But we now encounter a new issue.
Users are able to create snapshots, but snapshots won't be listed in ther "Snapshots" section in cPanel after completion.
Am I missing something here? Do you have any idea how to fix this?

Hi jdeker,

Glad to hear that you were able to resolve your prior issue.

Now regarding users not able to view their snapshots, I'd first verify
if they have the appropriate permissions under the cPanel Permissions
Tab in JetBackup WHM. (JetBackup > Permissions > cPanel Permissions - Capture.PNG)

After that, I would verify if the destination for the snapshot has
"Hide Snapshots" Enabled and go ahead and disable it. (Capture2.PNG)

Please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team if your issue persists.

Thank You,
Anton
