Max cPanel process memory

The install docs say:

JetBackup requires additional 1.5M of memory on top of the memory used by cPanel. therefore the total minimum required memory is 2GB.
In WHM UI, please navigate to Tweak Settings, search for "Max cPanel process memory" and set it to 2GB (or more).

Is there a mistake here, or am I reading it wrong? Should 1.5M be 1.5GB, and if so, does jetbackup really need that much memory?

Or if it is 1.5M, then the cpanel default of 768mb would be sufficient.

Do we really have to allocate 2GB to cpanel for jetbackup to function?

Thanks!

Hi,

Thank you for the feedback :)

JetBackup minimum memory requirement is 2Gb. As the cPanel recommend on Centos 7 OS.

We will make the documentation more clear.

Thank you,
Ofir, JetApps team.
