So what does Jetbackup actually come with? Do we get backup space? Or is this just a backup tool of some kind?

Hi ya,
So I'm investigating Jetbackup, and the website is VERY unclear about how the actual backup destination works.

When I came in, I assumed that Jetbackup also supplied storage space.

But as I looked around, what I saw IMPLIED (but I cannot find any statement) that you had to have your own storage spaces available, of some kind.

Is that the case?

If so, then the website really needs to make this clear, because I can imagine someone buying it, and assuming it also had server space.

Thanks,
Norman

Hi,

JetBackup is a backup software that gives you the ability to choose your own backups destination server.
You can choose backups destination servers from many platforms and protocols.
You can get more information at https://docs.jetbackup.com/

In the future, we may add a service that provides JetBackup amonge with storage server, but currently, JetBackup doesn't come with own storage spaces.

Thank you for the confirmation.

Can I strongly suggest you make sure that information is clearly stated on your webpages.

It is NOT on the linked docs page, nor any other page I have seen. It might be there, but it really does need to be very obvious.

Cheers,
Norm
