Create Schedule's Backup Retain feature

Post by edgecity » September 22nd, 2019, 11:47 pm

In the Create Schedule area of the Create Job, the "Backup Retain" defaults to 0.

Your docs say this value is: "Set the number of Backups to keep."

So, how does this work with incremental backups? If "Backup Retain" is set to 1, only one backup will be created and new or modified files added indefinitely to that backup after the first one?

Also, what happens if it's set to zero?

thanks.

Hi EdgeCity,

It's nice to hear from you again :)

In case you set the Backup Retain to 1, you will only have 1 backup on the backup destination server for each backed up account.
Only the new files will be uploaded and old unexisting files will be deleted from the backup.

It's not possible to set the Retain to 0.

Regards.
