Jetbackup fails with Google Drive....

Hello

I am using Jetbackup 5 and have recently upgraded our server to Almalinux.

Since doing the upgrade I am getting extremely high loads and error notices on my backups saying:

Error: Quota exceeded for quota metric 'Queries' and limit 'Queries per minute' of service 'drive.googleapis.com' for consumer 'project_number:861329395237

Now after reading some information about the amount of queries allowed via google drive I decided to swap this backup to another Google drive account.

BUT I still get the same error message and also the same"project_number" By using a different Google drive account I assumed this would change to a different project number but it hasn't and I am still receiving the same error.

I don't personally manage the upkeep of the server, I have a company that does it and they say there is nothing they can do.

I would like to ask if anyone has run into this issue and knows how to resolve it?

Also will removing and reinstalling jetbackup help?

Thanks

Hello digitalrefresh,

We apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused you! The error provided indicates that a rate limit has been exceeded on the Google Drive destination.

Due to Google Drive write limits, we do not recommend using this destination for Incremental backups. To troubleshoot this error, kindly reduce the Maximum Concurrent Tasks in destination settings. Additionally, you may need to lower the Concurrent Backup/Clone Task in the Performance settings.

You can find more information at the following link:
https://docs.jetbackup.com/v5.3/adminpa ... estination

Removing/Reinstalling JetBackup will not resolve the error.

Best Regards.
